Chasing Tails
Site casting for redfish is quite an art. It requires the angler and guide to work in perfect harmony. There is a small window on the high tide in which the redfish will “tail” on the surface. This scissor-cut silhouette is a tribute to the fly fishermen who go out regularly in search of the elusive spot tail, aka redfish, to site cast for their prize. In this scenario, it’s never about the biggest fish, it’s about the guide and angler executing the perfect position and cast, and just having a great day on the water.
