The South Carolina State Museum is sponsoring a nation-wide traveling exhibit of Clay’s original works. The exhibit includes 25 original works from Clay’s multi-award winning children’s book “The Lonely Shadow” as well as a visit to your museum or art center by the artist which includes silhouette-cutting, book signing, and a musical and storytelling performance by Clay.
A polished storyteller and tunesmith from his days as a Nashville songwriter, Clay’s eloquent musical portraits of his boyhood in the South Carolina Low Country captivate audiences young and old alike. When Clay sings “The Lonely Shadow”, The children can’t help but sing along.
