Hear Clay tell the story of Dr. Buzzard, the famed and fabled root doctor from down Beaufort way, and of the gray man, the mysterious ghost from Pawleys Island who appears before violent storms to warn the island people to evacuate. Intermixed with the stories and songs, are his musings of his life growing up in a family of writers and artists, and never knowing what would happen next on the family's Chee Haw river plantation.
Clay finishes each performance with a silhouette-cutting and booksigning segment which always delights visitors. Each meeting attendee will have a rare opportunity to take home a hand-cut-in-front-of-their-eyes keepsake by one of South Carolina's most famous artists.
