Limehouse Station
This old gas station was a familiar site in Charleston as you crossed the Ashley River from the peninsula to West Ashley. My father and I frequently stopped here on the way to the farm. My father was a good friend of the owner, Julien Limehouse, who also owned Mullet Hall on John’s Island. This hand cut silhouette I cut from memory of this place from those long ago days.
